Job Opportunity – Office Manager

The Willow Creek Community Services District is seeking a qualified individual to become a our new Office Manager. This is a full time, Monday-Friday position.

The Office Manager will run all general office duties at our office at 135 Willow Road, in Willow Creek, reporting directly to the General Manager. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining all aspects of the District finances, payroll, water department billing, answering phone calls, greeting the public at the payment counter, and working with other District staff to keep the various departments (Water, Recreation, Streetlights, and soon Sewer) in working order.

Education & Drivers License:  High School Diploma or GED.  A California driver’s license is required. The District may ask for a copy of your driving record. Applicants are desired to have experience and skills in the following:

  • Experience in bookkeeping using Quickbooks or similar program, or experience in banking
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, basic math, and common technology
  • Skill in the operation of computers, calculator, fax, copier, scanner and other standard    office equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Public relations and advanced interpersonal skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Benefits:  The Willow Creek CSD provides medical, dental and vision insurance to all full time employees and their dependents. CalPERS retirement is also provided, with a 7.75% employee contribution. The District has 10 paid holidays. Upon hire, you will receive 1 sick day per month. After one year of employment, you will receive 1 week of vacation.

Pay & Start Date:  The Office Manager will be hired at a starting pay of $18.00 – $22.00 per hour. Pay will be re-assessed every year. The Office Manager position is anticipated to start November 18th, with an overlap in duties with the existing Office Manager. The position will be subject to a 6-month probation period.
